RIYAN Committee: The RI Young Accountants Network (RIYAN) Committee of RISCPA had another successful November for their annual Collection Drive and RISCPA Olympics event for charity. The Committee’s chosen charity this year was the Mary House Food Pantry, located at St. Patrick’s parish in the Smith Hill area of Providence. RIYAN volunteers collected over 1,200 cans of non-perishable items and raised over $2,100 in cash during the collection drive days in mid-November. Additionally, a group of RIYAN volunteers helped assemble Thanksgiving baskets for needy families at the Mary House Food Pantry at St. Patrick’s School in Providence on November 20. The Olympics provided the usual mayhem and fun and Team Carl Weinberg & Co., came in first once again, managing to defend their title for the third year in a row! Congrats team and congrats all on a successful Collection Days Drive & Olympics!
