STARTING FRIDAY, MARCH 27TH, SMALL BUSINESSES WILL BE ABLE TO ACCESS FREE TECHNICAL SUPPORT. AN INCREASING NUMBER OF BUSINESSES IN RHODE ISLAND ARE WORKING REMOTELY AND TRANSITIONING TO ONLINE AND HOME-BASED SERVICES. THE GOVERNOR ANNOUNCED FREE TECH SUPPORT WILL BE PROVIDED VIA TELECONFERENCE OR PHONE BY INTERNET TECHNOLOGY (IT) COMPANIES WHO HAVE PARTNERED WITH THE STATE TO OFFER THIS SERVICE. TECH EXPERTS AT THESE COMPANIES WILL ASSIST BUSINESS OWNERS WITH PURCHASING EQUIPMENT, SOFTWARE, IMPLEMENT SECURITY FEATURES AND BEST PRACTICES TO SHIFT MEETINGS ONLINE.
