Christian Jenner Named Partner at Duffy & Sweeney
PROVIDENCE, RI (January 12, 2018) – The law firm of Duffy & Sweeney is proud to announce that Christian Jenner has been named a partner in the firm, effective January 1, 2018.
Jenner has a multifaceted dispute resolution practice with an emphasis on complex business litigation and technology law. He has represented clients in state and federal courts and before the American Arbitration Association. A substantial part of his practice is devoted to representing and providing strategic advice to private and publically-traded companies before litigation arises, and he has cost-effectively resolved disputes through negotiation and mediation. He has been named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers for the last four years.
Before joining Duffy & Sweeney in 2015, Jenner worked as an attorney in the Boston office of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and as legal counsel for the State of Rhode Island in the Office of the Governor. He is a 2003 graduate of Georgetown University (summa cum laude) and a 2007 graduate of Harvard Law School (cum laude).
A resident of Rehoboth, MA and native of West Greenwich, Jenner is a board member for the Narragansett Council, Boy Scouts of America and Chairperson of its Friends of Scouting effort. He is also a member of the Rhode Island Bar Association, the Boston Bar Association and the Federal Bar Association. He is admitted to practice law in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
