Seminar Fees and Location
Seminar fees include all course materials, continental breakfast, lunch and refreshments. Lunch is NOT provided at the Annual Tax Forum and for 4 hour seminars unless you attend morning and afternoon sessions.
Most seminars are held in the RISCPA/Atrion Educational Center. Our training room is limited to 50 participants. Please register early. Always check your confirmation for exact time and location.
Member Discount Policy
Discount applies to Society members and members of any other state CPA society. Listed prices reflect the discount. Non-members choose the non-member fee.
Registrations cannot be processed until the fee is paid.
American Institute of CPAs Member Discount
AICPA members in good standing are eligible for a discount of $30 off the course fee on select courses developed by the AICPA. The discount applies only on 8-hour courses developed by the AICPA and is not transferable to other fees or surcharges. Eligible courses are clearly noted.
If We Cancel a Seminar
A seminar may be canceled by a vendor if the minimum number of required participants is not obtained. You may elect to receive a full refund or transfer into another seminar. Your early registration is appreciated and helps to avoid seminar cancellations.
If You Cancel or Transfer a Seminar
CANCELLATIONS AND TRANSFERS ARE REQUIRED 5 (FIVE) Business Days prior to the course. You may receive a full refund or can transfer to another course within the current CPE year. Cancellations must be received by RISCPA by 4PM - 5 (FIVE) business days prior to the course.
Registrations cancelled 4 business days or less prior to the course or no-show registrants are subject to the full course fee. However, you are entitled to receive the course material if you state in writing or phone call to the RISCPA office.
Substitute registrants are only allowed with 48 hours prior notification to RISCPA. Note that non-members must pay the full course fee if substituting for a RISCPA member.
Full refund if cancellation is received 5+ business days prior to the date of the seminar (Day 1 being the day before the seminar).
NO refunds for cancellations after 4:00 p.m. four business days prior to the seminar.
Registrations are accepted by 3PM the day before the seminar; Walk-ins are accepted providing course manual and seating space is available (check with RISCPA 401-331-5720). The course fee must be paid prior to the course. Course materials will be mailed to you after the seminar if none is available on site.
Confirmation of Registration
After your paid registration is received in the RISCPA office, you will be emailed a confirmation. It provides the correct date of the program, class hours and seminar site. Please check it for possible changes in starting time or location. If you do not receive a confirmation within seven (7) days of registering, please contact the Society office.
Course materials will be distributed at the seminar site. If you requested an electronic copy you will receive it approximately three days prior to the seminar.
Most seminars begin at 8:30 am and end at 4:00 pm.
A continental breakfast, lunch (sandwiches, garden salad, pasta salad and calzones) and afternoon refreshments will be provided at the RISCPA/Atrion Education Center. A 30 minute lunch break is provided. Lunch is NOT provided at the Annual Tax Forum.
Smoking is allowed outside of the society office.
Cell phones must be set to the silent mode during classroom hours. Please refrain from cell phone use in the classroom. There are no public phones at the facility.
The RISCPA offers a variety of ways to meet your CPE requirements. In addition to the many conferences and seminars offered by the RISCPA, we have partnered with a variety of webcast providers to bring you live, interactive webcasts.
CPE Tracking Tool
RISCPA offers its CPE Tracking Tool to its members. CPEtracking will manage your CPE compliance. It allows you to record and maintain your CPE credits, RISCPA will record CPE credits taken with RISCPA for your convenience and CPEtracking allows you to download your CPE transcript for easy upload to the RI Board of Accountancy.

Most meeting rooms vary in temperature throughout the day. While the Society makes every effort to maintain a comfortable room temperature, it is best to plan for a variation of room temperatures. Please, dress in layers.
