Women’s Council Roundtable Discussion and Networking Event

Description:

Join our Women’s Council in a round-table discussion and networking event.  This event will bring women and men of the Accounting and Financial profession together to discuss their challenge and solutions facing their gender, generation and career advancement.

Highlights:

The theme is “Diversity and Inclusion in the Workforce” our Keynote speaker is Richard Caturano, former AICPA Chair and current Chair of AICPA Diversity Initiatives, he is also the National Leader of Culture, Diversity and Inclusion for RSM US LLP, a national Accounting Firm located in Boston.  Richard Caturano Bio

The topics for our breakout sessions will be "Why Is Diversity in the Workplace Important to Employees?" led by Diane Wilbur, Owner of Soft Skills Training and "Why Inclusion Is Essential to Success" led by Tejal Tarro COO of Advancing Women's & Workplace Excellence (AWE).  Diane Wilbur Bio; Tejal Tarro Bio

Round-table discussions from 2:00-4:30pm (3 hours of CPE) and Networking from 4:30-5:30pm wine/cheese will be available for the networking event.

Material will be emailed prior to the event so attendees can come prepared to participate in the discussions.

Objectives:

The objective of the roundtable event is also the mission of the committee “Help merge the experiences and thinking of women into the business world and our profession”
